My once in a lifetime experience was coming to a close. I am so thankful that I was awarded this opportunity to travel to another country and live there for five weeks. The sights I saw, the experiences I experienced, and the lessons learned will stay with me till my oldest days! This is something that would not have been possible if it was not for the KIIS Program! I thank them with all my heart for the trip of a lifetime!

Our farewell dinner was a local vietnamese restaurant around the block from our hostel. It was bittersweet saying good bye to the professors and to my friends but I was ready to go home!

Of course our night did not end there having to be up at 3am to leave for the airport we all pulled an all nighter sitting on the porch swapping stories, making fun of each other, and just cherishing our time together!

I refer to this as the “Good-Bye” bear! It was the last thing of Berlin that we got to see and touch before we boarded the plane for home! So long Berlin! I will see you soon!

18 hours later we were finally home - America! Thank you to my beautiful friends this trip would not have been the same without you! I love you and I hope you are all doing well in every endeavor! Love.
