Berlin Summer 2011
Christopher Street Day Parade

Berlin’s Christopher Street Day Parade is the largest Gay parade in Europe which is hosted to celebrate and demonstrate the rights of LGBT people in Europe. It was a parade that attracted a variety of people of all different backgrounds to come together to celebrate peace, love, and happiness regardless of your personal opinion it was a celebration!

The parade was full of people dressed in a variety of customs mostly drag - singing and dancing in the street! Like I said before I love parades and I love dancing!

Of course you can’t go anywhere with out ignorant and hateful people …

but like any good parade you wipe away the violence with some love and cheer! and go back to representing the true message you are trying to express: tolerance! I had an amazing time interacting with the participants of the parade and I love seeing a community stand behind its people no matter their beliefs!
